Donation and Stance on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Hello Malaysians and MYSversians,

We have an important announcement to make. MYSverse, the leading developer and community of Malaysian-themed roleplay experiences on Roblox, has taken note of the recent Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and is taking a step to support the humanitarian causes involved.

MYSverse, through the co-founder, has made a donation of RM 1000.00 to Persatuan Cinta Gaza Malaysia (CGM) to aid their humanitarian efforts in Palestine.

While this decision is rooted in our belief in compassion and global awareness, and we understand the significance of extending a helping hand to those in need, MYSverse as an organisation will not be hosting events related to the Israel-Palestine conflict on Roblox.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a complex and sensitive issue. We are aware of recent efforts and our suitability as a community and platform to host relevant events. Besides practical concerns, such as moderation, since Roblox is a platform designed primarily for children and young players, encouraging young minds to take sides in such a complex geopolitical situation doesn't align with our values.

However, we're open to exploring other ways to express solidarity when appropriate, considering the limitations, circumstances and platforms we have. For example, we encourage those who are able to donate to their local humanitarian NGO, such as CGM.

There are also many volunteer opportunities available on social media, providing passionate people another way to get hands-on involvement.

At MYSverse, we're all about having fun, embracing culture, and promoting education. We want to create an environment where critical thinking thrives, and where our community can learn and grow. Our aim is to inspire and educate in a safe and inclusive setting.
