Winners for 1st and 2nd place that won gift cards and limited edition lanyards for our Lebuhraya Racing Challenge !
Hey everyone! Karl here with an update.

We've recently participated in the ASEAN Digital Content Summit (ADCS2025) that was held from the 2nd to the 4th of September last week! Before we dive right into the content, I'll showcase some images of what went down on the 3 days of the event.

Our first day! Entering the exhibition hall for setup before visitors are allowed in.

Prizes?!
Yes, prizes. If you had seen the cover photo of this blog title, you could see the winners of our on-site Lebuhraya Racing Challenge. I can confidently say it was nowhere easy. The top record was at 48 seconds! Amazing time but not without a few retries. (It was truly an embodiment of the phrase, "keep trying until you make it").

What prizes were offered?
What was on the line for the participants was the enticing ROBLOX giftcards that was offered as prizes for the top 3 winners including limited edition lanyards while the 1st place has a smartwatch included as a prize. I'd say those are pretty hard to give up.

They were really trying their best to win the giftcard that they came to try again as much as possible. On a positive side, they know what ROBLOX is and some of the participants had already played Lebuhraya before! (Which totally gives them the upper hand in this challenge).

Let's go into the main content.
Wait, isn't the prizes the main content?
No, that's the hook. The main content will leave you in awe. (Please be in awe)

Most of our guests/visitors are game developers, students that are pursuing IT related courses, students in primary and secondary schools, teachers, lecturers from various universities, as well as from other organizations.
Obviously, most of the technical talking is done by our Head of Development. The students were enthusiastic in learning how to script and game development. (I'm pretty sure our Head of Development also shared their enthusiasm on the same area).

There were also the question of sustainability and revenue generation in which I will not discuss further in this post (I leave the explanation to the experts) . However, in terms of sustainability, ROBLOX is a free to use platform and a free to publish platform. It costs nothing to publish a game and nothing to maintain a server. It's 100% free!

Did you know that the topic of internship was brought up to our Head of Development multiple times in ADCS?

What do you think? Would you want to seize an opportunity if, hypothetically, a chance to pursue an internship with MYSverse is possible?

While technical and development questions were diverted to our Head of Development, several guests had also asked or raised concerns on certain matters especially online safety in particular which our Community Lead, took the lead (no pun intended) to provide a clear stance of MYSverse in maintaining the safety of our community through a dedicated Moderation Team.

Let's break it down on what points we emphasized in ADCS:

Core Values of MYSverse:

  1. Fun: MYSverse values the concept of fun to the players so that they may enjoy the experiences that we have to offer without the need to worry about hidden charges or unfair game mechanics.
  2. Education: MYSverse empowers educational values to the experiences, allowing players to not only enjoy the experiences but also to learn something from the experience. (The occupational roles in Lebuhraya are prime example in this case, though the SIM side is a much more concrete example).
  3. Culture: MYSverse aims to promote Malaysian culture to the world via experiences. Lebuhraya is a cultural inspired game (The use of highways to go back to hometown to celebrate Eid). Don't forget the experience (game) called Ruumah V4 which is used to celebrate Eid in-game!

And added core value is the Community. We, you and I, regardless of the time we have spent in the MYSverse community, are important in shaping the community as a whole. An individual, alone, cannot shape a community. Hence, the cooperation of everyone inside the MYSverse community has shaped what it is today; A community, rich and vibrant of knowledge and experience, diverse culture and history. A community that's more than 10 years old!

Let's not forget the aspect of online safety when talking about the community. Our dedicated team of Moderators, spending their time to ensure the safety of our community does not go unnoticed. We view the safety of our community as a priority to allow our community to enjoy their time participating in our experiences and SIM Roleplays. Despite the safety of the community lies within the responsibility of our Moderation Team, reports and cooperation from community members had assisted in maintaining a safe environment both in-game and on our main communication server (Discord).

Radicalism, terrorism, extremism, harassment, cyberbullying and many more offences are prevented by the Moderation Team that worked around the clock to ensure a safe environment for players. Grooming and Predatory behaviour are immediately flagged by our team, giving no chance for perpetrators to gain a foothold in the community.

Committed to enshrine our core values in every experience, it is the duty that our volunteer developers are working on tirelessly while balancing their commitments and time for game development for you, the community members, to enjoy our experience with new contents.
